Hi,

Installed irda-utils to allow me to attach to my IR mobile phone, after the recent gammu fix. Haven't done that it quite a while, wanted to review the utilities manual pages for the options.

I get the following error when I try to view the irdadump manual page

$ man irdadump

gunzip: /usr/man/man8/irdadump.8.gz: invalid compressed data--format violated

No manual entry for irdadump

The irda-ping manual page does display, however it shows the following errors first

One of the overnight cron.daily scripts, I think "makewhatis", is now causing cron to send an email to root listing the following errors :

This package won't build with kernel-headers 2.6.19.1, it's missing asm/io.h

This patch will fix the asm/io.h problem. Rebuilding it fixes this bug. This patch also updates irda-utils to 0.9.18.

Is Aurelien still maintaining this package? The package search on the main page says that there is no maintainer.

Patch no longer fixed the asm/io.h problem
