Hello,

I've been using Xorg 7 since a month and i havent got any problem with it, but after the update that happened on February 18th that was splitting the dummy xorg-server package, we had a problem launching any TK application, an example aMSN

[wael@nasreddine ~]$ amsn
Application initialization failed: this isn't a Tk applicationinvalid color name "#f0f0f0 "

You can check this thread http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=19010 where many people have the same issue!

Hope that it will be fixed soon

Is your rgbpath defined correctly in xorg.conf?

This is caused by a "bug" in the mcpp package: http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=19679

I will apply the patch to mcpp 2.5-2. In the meanwhile, you can pacman -Rd mcpp to get tk apps working again, as xrdb does a fallback to the huge cpp binary instead of the compact mcpp binary.
