I'm not sure how the out of date package notification system works (I'm assuming an email is sent to the package maintainer) but it doesn't seem to me to be working very well. Certain maintainers seem to have habit of "filing away" these notifications and forgetting about them.

I think a small improvement would be to at least log when the package was flagged as out of date so that if it was months ago the maintainer could be chased up about it. Even better would be the ability to search for all out of date packages and sort them by the date they were flagged as such.

Adding last updated date should be enough of a rough guide to work from.
I don't think we need to add when a package was flagged, as that isn't really important.
The important element is that a package is out of date.

It would be goof if there was a field when user can post a comment when filing report about outdated package.

Just to follow up with an example. The psi package hasn't been updated in a year even though the latest version came out over 2 months ago.

I believe the data backend only records that a package has been flagged out of date, not 'when'.

The listing does show when a package was last updated. I could add that information to the details page, if people think it is relevant to see it there.
