Apparently the 0.7.1 install CD is looking for libsm and can't find it.

Yes that happened to me too. Possible workaround is instaling only the BASE category and the rest later on from the cd

Yes this is a really annoying bug.
A full install is impossible.

Although people complained in the forum link (above) that a full install is impossible because of this bug, everything on the 0.7.1 full iso can be installed, except for the X11-libs group packages.

Its annoying though, particularly if you don't have easy net access to upgrade the relevant packages online.
