Summary and Info:

"pacman -Qi <packagename>" displays a bit chaotic information when using Spanish locale due to an improvable Spanish translation. Each of the items displayed by -Qi uses a different spacing, so the items goes left and right on the screen.

I attach an screenshot to illustrate the issue. Also, I attach an improved Spanish translation for pacman which seems to solve the issue. Please, include it in the current pacman source, replacing the current es.po file with this one. Thanks ;).

1. All translation updates should go via the ML, not here or they will never have a chance of being seen by the current translator.
2. We use Transifex for all translations now, so please go through there next time. We obviously need to update our documentation to reflect this.
3. git format-patch style patches, please.

I'm also noticing that you are changing the case of several multi-word things (e.g. 'No modificado'), not only away from the the English original but what it was before. I'm going to need to know why this is before I really want to apply this.

I'm an Arch newbie coming from the Ubuntu world and I didn't knew the right method to fix a translation. I also am the Ubuntu Spanish Translators team administrator, and all the Ubuntu translations goes via Launchpad.net. I would like to contribute to translation in Arch too, so I welcome the documentation to do so. Thank you very much in advance ;).

About the changing of the case, it's wrong in Spanish to use uppercase words in the middle of a phrase, so "No Modificado" is wrong in Spanish. Uppercase words are allowed only at the very first word in a sentence, or when the word is a proper name (like a person's name or similar). That's the reason to fix it replacing it by "No modificado", which is right in Spanish.
