Reason for closing: Fixed
Additional comments about closing: Fixed in 2.13 which is in testing. Will not backport this fix to 2.12, as 2.13 will move in soon anyways.

i bet is a video driver issue
Can you give more details about your system configuration?
I'm on a Thinkpad T61
Here the x packages installed:
xf86-input-keyboard 1.4.0-2
xf86-input-mouse 1.5.0-2
xf86-input-synaptics 1.2.2-2
xf86-video-intel 2.12.0-1
xf86-video-vesa 2.3.0-2
xfsprogs 3.1.2-1
xorg-fonts-100dpi 1.0.1-3
xorg-fonts-75dpi 1.0.1-3
xorg-res-utils 1.0.3-3
xorg-server 1.8.1.902-1
xorg-twm 1.0.4-3
xorg-xinit 1.2.1-1
My windows manager is ratpoison-git 20100713-1
Does Arch Devs report it to Intel or I need to make the report myself ?
thx
The new xf86-video-intel in testing seems to have the problem fixed.
Anyway, the attached patch for that commit works for me with the current driver version.
