Description:
Closing laptop lid while screensaver is active does not put it to sleep. This bug has been reported on the KDE Bugzilla (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205453) and even though the bug remains unconfirmed upstream after more than 8 months, a patch was submitted in the bug report on 10-May-2010. I rebuilt kdebase-workspace using ABS, incorporating this patch into the PKGBUILD, and can confirm that it does indeed work.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Lock screen or otherwise start screensaver.
2) Close laptop lid.

What should happen:
Laptop goes to sleep

What happens instead:
Laptop fails to go to sleep

Note: This may be an obvious point, but you'll need to remove the "kdebase-workspace-4.4.3" directory from the front of the patch that was referenced in the KDE bug report, in order for it to work in the PKGBUILD.

The patch for powerdevil which solved the bug referenced in this bug report has not been included in the current PKGBUILD. Not sure how long this regression has been around. I created a new patch for this as the line numbers have changed in 4.5, you can see the patch at the pastebin link below.
