Description: When I am trying to copy a table from calc to writer, ctrl+v is not working and when I do a right click and choose paste, both crash showing a windows saying that due to unexpected error openoffice crash and that all files will be saved. This happens even when the cells you are trying to copy are empty.

Additional info:
go-openoffice 3.1.1.5-1
this is the same bug as in http://bugs.gentoo.org/289665
from this thread:
"I tested this a bit more and found out that the configuration parameter
--enable-gio causes this bug."
I do not know what to do with this information however.

Steps to reproduce:
Open one empty document i writer and one in calc. Select any cell(s) in calc, even if empty and hit ctrl+c. ctrl+v in writer will not work. Right click and paste, or choose paste from menu (edit->paste) into writer. Openoffice will crash.

--enable-gio don't appears on PKGBUILD (is used by default?)

Please report this to upstrean (https://bugzilla.novell.com) if not already reported, and paste the link here. Thanks.

didn't find this bug upstream. I do not know, if this is not go-oo specific. Can someone with vanilla openoffice confirm this?

Today I checked openoffice-base, openoffice-base-beta and openoffice-base-devel and none of them show this behavior.
This is then only go-oo specific.

after a chat with the devs on IRC, I have found out, that arch indeed uses --enable-gio
<kendy> jarda-wien:
<kendy> grep enable-gio distro-configs/*
<kendy> distro-configs/ArchLinux.conf:--enable-gio
<kendy> distro-configs/ArchLinux.conf.in:--enable-gio
<kendy> jarda-wien: So Arch really uses that.

Sure we use --enable-gio. anyway it's a Novell bug. File an issue at their tracker. You have confirmed it's not in the vanilla OOo.
