tcl\tk applications failed to launch after xorg-server updgrade

To provide the information here:

Workaround is to create ~/.Xresources with content:
*.background: gray75

Yes, then do:
$xrdb -load ~/.Xresources

http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=647498#p647498 reports this as a kde issue. Perhaps someone can verify.
