Description:
(EE) RADEON(0): [dri] RADEONDRIGetVersion failed because of a version mismatch.
[dri] radeon kernel module version is 2.0.0 but version 1.17.0 or newer is needed.
[dri] Disabling DRI.

DRI is disabled and when acceleration method 'EXA' is turned on, the computer becomes very very slow and irresponsive.

disable kms as written in our wiki, your card is not supported in kernel drm module/xorg ddx driver. then it should work again like before.

His card is very much supported. He must wait for Mesa 7.6.

sorry. new Xorg+mesa is in testing. either stay with non kms and extra or upgrade to testing with the risk of reported massive 3d drawbacks.
