what information is useful?
Comment by Jan de Groot (JGC) - Tuesday, 29 September 2009, 12:20 GMT
Either gavl or frei0r-plugins contains optimized SSE2 code that won't run on non-SSE2 CPUs.
Comment by jozef riha (jose1711) - Tuesday, 29 September 2009, 12:28 GMT
Jan de Groot: well I have Celeron M processor (Dell D600) and according to wikipedia it should support SSE2 but i'll check in /proc/cpuinfo when back home

Pidgin then starts normally. Is there any other info that I can provide that I haven't already?
Thanks!

it seems that latest update fixed it. can anyone else confirm?
Comment by Brandon (GhostDevil) - Monday, 05 October 2009, 23:57 GMT
Yes the issue appears to be resolved. I have kdenlive and pidgin both running at this time. Thanks.
