Description:
Altough in the preferences the "display when battery is present" option is selected the icon only displays when battery is charging/discharging. If I select the "always display" option then it shows the AC icon as if the battery was not present. If I disconnect from AC then the battery icon appears correctly. Also the icon which represents the state "battery present and charged, connected to AC" is not found.

Additional info:

What are the states of the battery in sysfs with these tests?

Not sure if this is what you asked... Let me know if I shall post more information:

1. Charging/Discharging: Icon displays correctly.
$ cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/state
present: yes
capacity state: ok
charging state: charging
present rate: 0 mA
remaining capacity: 3000 mAh
present voltage: 14800 mV

2. Charged, Battery present. Icon does not display (altough display when presented is selected in power manager preferences).
$ cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/state
present: yes
capacity state: ok
charging state: charged
present rate: 0 mA
remaining capacity: 4000 mAh
present voltage: 14800 mV

Is this still an issue with 2.28.1?
