Details

Description:
* firefox 3.5 crashes when entering fullscreen in flash movies (i686 here)

Additional info:
* package version(s) - latest firefox 3.5-1

Steps to reproduce:
* play any youtube video, enter fullscreen, crash

Workaround:
* launch firefox with: LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libGL.so.1 firefox

Could someone please patch the PKGBUILD? Thanks.

If this LD_PRELOAD thing fixes the bug, then it's a bug in flash, not firefox. Please report this at adobe.

This only happens with the proprietary nvidia driver/libGL, the nv driver works without crashing.

Report it upstream then. AFAIK the flash plugin will only use hardware acceleration with Nvidia drivers, and I refuse to add a crappy workaround just for nvidia drivers.
