Description:
After upgraded to kernel26 version 2.6.30-3 from testing repository, I get sound skipping when watching video or playing music. Searching on both kernel mailing list and Arch Linux forum show that other people are also affected by this problem

A patch that fix this issue have been released: http://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/30291/.

I've try out the patch and it seems to have fix the problem on my machine. I've attached the patch with this bug report.

Steps to reproduce:
- Upgrade to kernel26 version 2.6.30-3 from testing repository.
- Try play a music or a video file, if you're using one of the sound card that are affected by the problem (such as Integrated AC97) you should eventually noticed sound start to skip.
