Details
Description:
If i try to start ejabberd, it does not start. It happened on a 64 bits machine and on a 32 bits machine. Another ejabberd install on a brand-new installed 32 bits machine a few weeks ago works perfectly. Additional info: * ejabberd and erlang interpreter from extra (“pacman -Syu” says, it’s all updated) * additionally tested in a brand-new installation in QEMU Steps to reproduce: * install ejabberd (“pacman -Sy ejabberd”) * try to start ejabberd (use “ejabberdctl live” and type “start”) See attached QEMU screenshot |

i guess, it’s the erlang package (R12 works – even if ejabberd
can’t be started via the DAEMONS array or “/etc/rc.d/ejaberd
start” but only via “ejabberctl start” – an installation of R13
does not work)
