Details

Description:
If i try to start ejabberd, it does not start. It happened on a 64 bits machine and on a 32 bits machine. Another ejabberd install on a brand-new installed 32 bits machine a few weeks ago works perfectly.


Additional info:
* ejabberd and erlang interpreter from extra (“pacman -Syu” says, it’s all updated)
* additionally tested in a brand-new installation in QEMU


Steps to reproduce:
* install ejabberd (“pacman -Sy ejabberd”)
* try to start ejabberd (use “ejabberdctl live” and type “start”)

i guess, it’s the erlang package (R12 works – even if ejabberd can’t be started via the DAEMONS array or “/etc/rc.d/ejaberd start” but only via “ejabberctl start” – an installation of R13 does not work)
