Description:
As you said gnome-power-manager is using devicekit and devicekit-power and because of an upstream bug or lack of functionality some actions like suspending using special keys or when lid is close, or brightness aren't working. The solution that i have found is to compile gnome-power-manager with --enable-legacy-buttons. the fixed was tested and is working in all scenarios Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. gnome-power-manager 2.26.0-1 Steps to reproduce: Upgrade and test actions that I described |

Confirming. Compiling with "--enable-legacy-buttons" fixes the
problem for me.
