Also a few days ago I got a new pacman server list update which had all lines commented in it, and pacman was not able to do any updates . I have uncommented all german servers manualy and after that it started to take updates.

I have changed gdm to xdm and wmii started successful but nm-applet does not work anymore :( imho seems to be a gnome lib troubles, don't know .

First, few suggestions:
* please do not mix totally different issues in one report
* please do not use 'after last update' in any report, ever - these words are absolutely useless for us, really
* please do not give Critical severity to a report only because _your_ system got broken

About pacman mirrorlist - default mirrorlist file has commented entries, but it should be created as mirrorlist.pacnew after -Syu. FYI all pacman-related issues should be reported in the Pacman project on this bugtracker.

The messages about ath5k are most probably related to the kernel upgrade from .28 to .29 and nm-applet not working (BTW, what _exactly_ do you mean by that?) is probably related to those errors.

The problem with starting wmii is most probably related to the xorg-server upgrade from 1.5 to 1.6. I suggest to ask on arch/wmii forums first - probably someone encountered the same issue and there are chances you may get instructions how to fix it. If it requires rebuilding wmii package in some way - please post instructions here.

@Aaron: sorry for assigning it to you, but wmii is orphan (seems like alot of packages became orphans recently), and I don't know what to do with this report. Feel free to reassign/close it as you like.
