These all still actually work, right? So this is just for cosmetic reasons?
Comment by Abhishek Dasgupta (abhidg) - Wednesday, 18 March 2009, 04:41 GMT
I've no idea if they all work properly, but storing
python libraries in /usr/lib/python2.5 when the interpreter
version is 2.6 is a bug.

fixed my pkg: gutenpy and pysolfc
Comment by Allan McRae (Allan) - Monday, 13 April 2009, 06:08 GMT
my packages are fixed:
gtk-vnc, python-feedparser, gaupol, pympd

I encourage anybody who still has packages to rebuild to do it soon. Any packages not rebuilt will break when I release python-2.6.2 next week, as python2.5 will not appear in the sitepath.
Comment by Allan McRae (Allan) - Friday, 17 April 2009, 11:12 GMT
Current list. An update to python that will break these packages is moving to testing today. Just rebuild them against python-2.6.x to fix.

python-scipy: after the latest python update (2.6.2-1) some modules break with "Illegal Instruction", rebuild solves that.
Comment by Abhishek Dasgupta (abhidg) - Wednesday, 13 May 2009, 06:37 GMT
@imrehg: All the files are in the proper directory /usr/lib/python2.6
so there should not be any problems.

Updated rebuild list attached.

All but two have been rebuilt... serpentine can't be rebuilt due to bug  FS#14782  and thuban-svn needs wxpython update to 2.8.10 (which has been released) to build.
