Details

Description:
The numlockx seems not to function properly with the new version of Arch (2009.02) along with the GNOME Desktop Environment (2.24.3). The numlock's led just doesn't turn on. I have edited /etc/gdm/Init/Default by adding the relevant code

if [ -x /usr/bin/numlockx ]; then
/usr/bin/numlockx on
fi

but it didn't help either.

Hmmm, lib32 libraries should not be required (they're not even "official"). That means there's probably a bug here

Just catching up here...are you still having issues with numlockx?

FWIW there is no need for numlockx if you use GDM because it controls the Numlock status itself.
