Details
Description: bitcmyk produces 0 length output
Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Version: Ghostscript 8.64-1 Steps to reproduce: The most visible error this bug produces is when you print a color page with one of these printers : HP Color LaserJet 1500/1600/2600/CP1215, Samsung CLP-300/315/600/610 etc., Xerox 6110 etc., Konica Minolta 2300 DL/2430 DL/2530 DL etc., Lexmark C500 . The result is a blank page or no actions from the printer. Ghostscript 8.64 has a bug that is described here http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=690287 . The problem generated by this bug is that isn't possible to print color pages on the affected printers. I fixed this problem on my machine by recompiling via ABS ghostscript substituting the base/gdevbit.c file with a more recent revision from SVN. |
