When installing bash 3.2.048-2 you get an error: scriptlet
failed to execute correctly just like mentioned in
http://www.archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-dev-public/2008-December/009410.html That is mostly a problem if you have never installed bash before, in which case you get no bash entry in /usr/share/info/dir See http://www.archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-releng/2009-January/000112.html |

Both of these only relate to installing in either a chroot or an
installation system. It is related to dependency cycles, and not
having glibc installed first, and as such install-info fails to
run
