Description:
Basically, gnome-screensaver works for blank screen, pictures folder and floating feet; the rest of the screensavers display a black screen in the preferences dialog, and when previewing they show just a grey screen. I'm assuming cosmos, munch, pacman and popsquares are opengl as I can see no other distintion between them and the ones that do work...

I've been install xscreensaver, and the screensaver from this package works but the screensaver from gnome still doesn't work.

Additional info:
* package version(s): gnome-screensaver 2.24.1-1

Steps to reproduce:
Execute on terminal "gnome-screensaver-preferences"
Choose cosmos, munch, pacman or popsquares. The preview doesn't display nothing.

You need xscreensaver for most of the 3D screensavers. Some of them are incorrectly detected because the TryExec lines detect a binary in /usr/bin (pacman for example).

what is the status of this? gnome-screensaver needs an optdepends on xscreensaver?

I don't remember why I reopened it.
It does work fine here, and xscreensaver is in optdepends.
