Description:
When I power up my notebook (kinetic), the hostname is changed to localhost.localdomain. When I obtain a connection in GNOME, the hostname becomes kinetic.local (my notebook), but meanwhile, the dbus session is linked to localhost, so I can't start any app in GNOME.

I've found that adding the file attached in /etc/NetworkManager solves the problem: networkmanager doesn't mess with /etc/hosts.
