Description:
Sometimes synaptics driver crash my Xorg. It's caused by eviocgbit-bug (http://userweb.kernel.org/~dtor/eviocgbit-bug.html). When its happend, screen will wipe of and after moment, somethins show. Its looklike as rectangle in upper side of screen, filled wiht motley dots. Additional info: * package version(s) synaptics-0.14.6c-2 * config and/or log files etc. dmesg show: evdev.c(EVIOCGBIT): Suspicious buffer size 511, limiting output to 64 bytes. See http://userweb.kernel.org/~dtor/eviocgbit-bug.html Steps to reproduce: I'am not sure, but in my dmesg was (repeatedly) opera segfault just before evdev.c error and i didnt see opera crashing before X died, so i thing there can be some relationshit. |
