Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  Not a bug in easytag, caused by some theme engine that pulls in bonoboui.

Updated easytag to 2.1.6 and it depends on gdk, gtk, pango, and cairo. Is it still a problem?

Yes it is still a problem - Updated to easytag-2.1.6-1-i686 and I without libbonoboui installed it crashes. I tried again this time in icewm and it works, so the problem remains inside KDE

Hi, I'm using it from Gnome.

After very weird behavior when tagging files:

- When tagging song from a cddb query it tries to assign the values to wrong fields (artist name to song name, etc...)
- When renaming by mp3tag content trying to change the name of the file for the song i.e. 1 to the song 4.
- As said, just weird things.

After uninstall it and install stable version from source is everything working allright.

This needs more information from someone using KDEmod. I cannot reproduce it with Xfce and NO libbonoboui. Also, no erratic behaviour observed.
