Description:
I post the problem from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/124406:

In my particular case, this bug increase the delay key-press all the time i've a high system load.

Steps to reproduce:

Increase the system load and use a program that uses a key-repetition (like a game or scroll page in firefox with arrows).

Reproduce: Always

Can you give any information about your hardware? Also are you running Compiz or fglrx ? Gnome or .... ? When does it happen? Are all keys affected? The more additional info you can provide the better. Even though it seems quite common in ubuntu and its clear its an upstream problem its quite unclear which package has the problem.

All Keys affected. It happen when I use an application that use the key-repetition. In particular Wine + Game, but also in some cases like word cancellation in text files. In Ubuntu's forum, the problem it's the same i have.

When this happened I restart Xorg and the problem go away.

I've experienced this error on more than one occasion.

I would also guess that it is because of the high system load when running hungry programs.

I'm running..
Acer Aspire AM3100-UD5200A
AMD Athlon X2 CPU

Xfce 4.4.2
Compiz-Fusion & Emerald
Latest X and Xorg
2.6.24-ARCH x86_64

I'll also post my /proc/cpuinfo
