I confirm this bug. It started some weeks ago, the solution proposed above works.

I used the following workaround (I'm using Eclipse 3.4M6a)

add this to the bottom of you config.ini file under eclipse directory
-Dorg.eclipse.swt.browser.XULRunnerPath=/usr/share/idl/xulrunner-1.8.1.13

Bump. When will this get fixed? The workarounds do not help ;-(

my workaround should be to update eclipse.ini not config.ini

running "eclipse" from instead of "/usr/share/eclipse/eclipse" worked for me.

I'm switching to binaries in extra for eclipse. This should hopefully resolve all these problems, get us all onto Ganymeade, and improve the speed of future updates.

Stay tuned!

I think these issues are resolved with the new 3.4-2 in testing. Can someone confirm? I'm using the xulrunner fix from the eclipse-bin aur package.
